I’m Josh.

This is my blog, which is about everything and nothing all at the same time.

I’m originally from the Chicago area, did college in Indiana, lived in the Detroit area for a good chunk of time, and now find myself in Milwaukee. Just your regular ol’ midwestern tour, I suppose.

I used to get paid to write professionally, which was awesome because, well… umm, how is that not awesome??? The only problem was it was small-time journalism, which means I got paid jack squat, worked way too much, and had to deal with people who thought I cared about their usually meaningless issues a fraction of as much as they did. I really kinda just fell into the field, which means I wasn’t feelin’ it so much.

Now I’m working some sort of financial job that I hope to be able to understand enough some day to be able to provide a good breakdown of my job description.

In the meantime, I keep blogging away here about candybars, stuff that makes me laugh, sports, why ol’ skool hip hop is the best (and why modern hip hop isn’t worth anyone’s time), hamburgers, the weird things I stumble upon in Corporate America, various other things going on in my life, and additional random thoughts.
